Hannah is a friendly, approachable and enthusiastic tutor. She achieved eight distinctions for her final grade 12 examinations with an average of over 90 percent for mathematics. Hannah specialises in tutoring mathematics for high school learners and is capable of tutoring any subjects from grade 1-7. Hannah is also available to tutor all university Economics modules from first year to honours level. Hannah graduated from Stellenbosch University with a BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics in 2016. Hannah also graduated from Stellenbosch University with an honours in Economics in 2017 and is a member of the Golden Key Society. Hannah has been accepted to study her masters in Economics at Vrije University in Amsterdam in September 2018.
With 3 years of tutoring experience behind her, Nicole is particularly successful in helping students who are struggling to grasp concepts in Mathematics, Accounting and Economics. Nicole has completed her Cambridge International A levels in the aforementioned subjects and is currently completing her degree in Finance and Accounting at the University of Cape Town. Her friendly and enthusiastic disposition makes her approachable, which is fundamental in assisting students in building self-confidence. Lara is currently a third-year student at the University of Cape Town and her majors are Media and Writing and English Literature Studies. Lara tutors Afrikaans from Grade R to Grade 12 and English from Grade R to Grade 10. She is also able to assist with general homework. Lara is especially well versed in these subjects and she achieved 89% for Afrikaans Home Language and 82% for English Home Language in Matric. Lara is zealously committed to tutoring and hopes she can help pupils reach their fullest potential.
Olivia is a dedicated in tutoring and challenging those in linguistics, Arts & Culture and Live Performances Olivia tutors in English, Visual Arts, Drama, Public Speaking & Live Performance. She is graduating with a BA Live Performance & Media Studies and aims to further her studies at UCT in 2019 to specialize in Film Law. Olivia completed her Trinity College London Speech & Drama examinations with distinction and achieved the highest examination mark & top performer in South Africa for grade 6 level in 2014. She strives to help develop ones self esteem and confidence through the works of Stanislavsky and many other theorists so that students can endure their school career with self assurance and positive mindsets when writing their examinations and social interaction. Michael is a passionate, patient, and meticulous learner who hopes to assist other students in need of tutoring. He currently tutors English and French to learners between Grades 3 and 12, and is able to assist with homework. Michael is currently a student in his final year of completing a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Psychology at the University of Cape Town. He specializes in English and French but is able to help with all subjects for primary school children (foundation and intermediate phase). Additionally, Michael is able to help students with ELL1013F, ELL1016S, ELL2007F, ELL2015S, SLL1060F, SLL1061S. Michael says: “I love seeing others succeed and hope to help in any way I can".
Olorato is a dedicated and outgoing tutor, who is very much a people's person. She never backs down from a challenge, and does her best to ensure that the learner that she is tutoring is able to grasp a concept. She loves working with young people. Olorato is currently studying Actuarial Science at the University of Cape Town. She has been a residence tutor, and loves to tutor Mathematics to high scholars in any Grade, and is keen to help with homework and exam preparation. She also tutors 1st year Statistics. Paula is an aspiring young student whom has a passion for tutoring other students Currently studying at the University of Cape Town, Paula is in her honours year specialising in Economics and Finance. She has had excellent success with learners in younger grades and at university level. where she also tutors UCT students at the University of Cape Town, mainly in the department of Economics, where she achieved Deans Merit List in 2017. She is friendly, enthusiastic and patient tutor who has tutored students around over Cape Town.
Ru has been part of the Cape Town tutors team since 2016 tutoring mainly English to learners across all grades. She also tutors foundation phase subjects and gives general homework assistance. She is hard working, reliable and professional. Ru is a law student at UCT and also tutors fellow students. She also majors in industrial psychology. Meisie has been a part of Cape Town tutors since 2013 tutoring mainly Afrikaans to learners across all grades, all foundation phase subjects, general homework assistance. She is hard working, reliable and professional. Meisie is a former BA student at UCT and a is currently enrolled for a B.Ed student at UNISA. Meisie achieved 84% for Afrikaans in Matric. She is fully bilingual, speaking Afrikaans at home and English at school/ University. Meisie says: “I am a strong responsible individual with a passion for educating and encouraging children. Adeeb is energetic, friendly and very patient. He has had great success with tutoring students of all ages and learning levels. Adeeb currently tutors Afrikaans to several learners in Grades 7-12. He recently celebrated the matriculation of one of his students who he mentored from grade 10. Adeeb has amassed 3 years and over 600 hours of tutoring experience. Adeeb is currently completing his undergraduate degree in Accounting, specializing in the Chartered Accounting (CA) stream at the University of Cape Town. He is an Alumna of he Spirit Scholarship Foundation. Adeeb specializes in Afrikaans but can also assist with all primary school subjects, both in the foundation and intermediate phases. He also has experience with intermediate to senior phase high school accounting as well as economics and business studies. He also assists with homework completion. Adeeb says: “I have a passion for learning and I love sharing my knowledge with others. I am always willing to go the extra mile to ensure my students achieve their goals.”
